Another major block deal of this year is expected to take place on the following Monday, June 10 when the world's largest private equity fund Blackstone will sell up to 15% stake in the IT major Mphasis . According to the ET report, the expected value of the second biggest deal of this year may go around Rs 6,697 crore. It can be counted as the second biggest deal after British American Tobacco's ITC stake sale of worth Rs 17,000 crore early this year.
As per ET report, Blackstone holds 55.45% stake in the Bengaluru-based company Mphasis as of the end of March 2024. Post the block deal scheduled to be held on Monday, June 10, the stake of Blackstone in Mphasis will drop to 40.4% but retain the spot of the largest shareholder in the company.
Mphasis share price Mphasis stock gained 1.45% on Friday, June 07, to settle at Rs 2472 apiece. The scrip opened at Rs 2437 apiece, against the previous day close at Rs 2436 apiece. The counter touched a high of Rs 2555 apiece and a low of Rs 2437 apiece.
Mphasis market cap Mphasis has a market cap of Rs 46,735 crore as per BSE analytics. The stock has a face value of Rs 1 each. The stock's 52-week movement indicates a high of Rs 2835 apiece and a low of Rs 1,807 apiece.
