The feature is rolling out to Windows Insider community users with a connected Android device via Phone Link.

The feature is gradually rolling out to Windows 11 users in the beta channel. This feature allows testers to connect and access their phone's features from the Start menu.
According to the Windows Insider Blog, users can check the battery status and connectivity of their phone from the Start menu on a Windows machine. Users can also access their calls, messages and photos from the Start. Plus, testers can also catch up on the activities of their phone via the Start menu.

"Pick up where you left off with the latest activities from your phone, all seamlessly integrated into your Start menu experience," Microsoft said. The feature is rolling out to Windows Insider community users with a connected Android device via Phone Link. Support for iOS will arrive later. Eligible users can manage the 'Start' feature in Settings from the 'Personalisation' options.

As per Microsoft, the feature is rolling out in "Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3790" and later versions for beta users. For other Insider channels, support will arrive at a later date. Moreover, Phone Link version 1.24052.124.0 and later. However, readers should note that the feature is not rolling out for stable Windows users.

Meanwhile, the company recently shared an update for its Windows Recall feature for Copilot+ PCs. The tech giant shared it will update the set-up experience of these PCs for a clearer idea that the feature will be an opt-in service and saving screenshots will be disabled by default. It also added a Windows Hello enrollment as a requirement to enable the feature. You can read more on this here.
