Motorola Edge 50 Fusion to launch in India on May 16th; Flipkart availability confirmed

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be the second phone from the series to launch in India after the Edge 50 Pro . Shortly after teasing the phone, Motorola has announced the launch date of the Edge 50 Fusion. All three phones launched globally last month including the Edge 50 Ultra but this one hasn’t made it here yet.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is launching in India on May 16th. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 12 pm. There’s a dedicated page on Flipkart for the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. The handset’s design and specifications have been revealed on the microsite. It’s confirmed to launch in all three colours: Marshmallow Blue, Forest Blue and Hot Pink.

Since the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has already launched, we know all the details about the phone. In terms of pricing, Motorola Edge 50 Fusion costs EUR 399 (Rs 35,400 approx) for the base model. It will most likely cost less than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India, which has a starting price of Rs 31,999 in India.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood of the phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The smartphone features a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging support. It runs Android 14-based Hello UI out of the box. You also get an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and more.
