The fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail was showcased in India alongside the Qashqai and Juke in November 2022.
In India, the X-Trail is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.
The unit produces 201 BHP and 305 Nm and will be paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Nissan has released a teaser of its upcoming premium SUV, the X-Trail. The carmaker has also confirmed that it will be launched in the Indian market soon.
The fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail was showcased in India alongside the Qashqai and Juke in November 2022. The X-Trail will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) under the government policy, which allows the import of up to 2,500 vehicles per year without the need for homologation.
In India, the X-Trail is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The unit produces 201 BHP and 305 Nm and will be paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Whether Nissan will offer an AWD version remains to be seen.
In terms of features, the X-Trail gets a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. The SUV is also equipped with ADAS.
