Nothing OS 2.6 update based on Android 14 is out now for Nothing Phone (2). The update is available to Nothing Phone 2 users and it brings interesting features besides bug fixes and experience improvements. This includes a dedicated game mode, a new pop-up view mode, and more. Here, take a look:

Game Mode
Now when you open a game, towards the left side of the game, you will see a small bar, sliding which brings up the Game Mode dashboard. You can toggle Performance Mode, enable a Pop-up view for calls, set minimal or full turn-off for notifications, lock brightness level, toggle mistouch prevention, the ability to reject 3rd party app calls and even a quick way to callback if you have multiple missed calls from a number.
To enable Game Mode on Nothing OS 2.6, go to the Settings menu and tap on the System tab. Here, you will find the Game Mode toggle.
Custom Charging Mode
Within Settings > Battery, you can set the maximum charging limit to 70 percent, 80 percent, or 90 percent. This is to avoid overcharging and protect battery health.
Pop-up View
You can now open apps from the recent menu in a pop-up view with a simple drag and drop. This works for notifications too. You should be able to better multi-task between different apps this way. This toggle is also present within Settings menu > System.
Delete wallpaper history in Wallpaper Studio
To do this, tap on the Nothing OS homescreen, tap on Customisation > More Wallpapers > scroll to the end of Wallpaper Studio carousel, tap on More > long-press on the wallpaper you want to delete and tap on the recycle bin button on the top right corner. You can have a maximum of 99 wallpapers here in this library.
CMF product battery history on Quick Settings Bluetooth tile
After this update, when you connect a CMF Watch, you can just scroll down the Quick Settings menu and see the watch’s battery status on the Bluetooth tile. This is a very convenient way to know when you must charge the connected accessories.

There is a vivid mode within the Camera app to enhance the brightness and vibrancy of an image.

The Cloned app feature has been fixed.
