OnePlus 11R Solar Red Edition launching in India with a new variant on April 18

OnePlus is all set to launch another variant of its OnePlus 11R Solar Red Edition. The price details are currently unknown, but it will likely be much lower than the recently announced OnePlus 12R. The original OnePlus 11R version is currently on sale at Rs 32,999. So, the cost of the Solar Red model could be slightly more than the regular 11R model. The OnePlus 11R Solar Red version draws power from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

OnePlus is all set to launch another variant of its OnePlus 11R Solar Red Edition. The company has confirmed the launch via its official social media channels. The new variant will come with an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The price details are currently unknown, but it will likely be much lower than the recently announced OnePlus 12R.

The OnePlus 12R is currently selling at Rs 39,999 in India. The original OnePlus 11R version is currently on sale at Rs 32,999. So, the cost of the Solar Red model could be slightly more than the regular 11R model. We will get clarity on this on the launch day. Currently, interested buyers can pre-book the red edition at Rs 999 via Amazon as the listing for it is already live on the e-commerce site. The listing says that the pre-booking amount will be credited back as Amazon Pay Balance before redemption.

Amazon has also revealed that the company will offer an instant discount of Rs 1,250 on ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Onecard, which will bring down the price by a certain amount. The OnePlus 11R Solar Red version draws power from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The SoC comes paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It has curved edges and sides, similar to the OnePlus 9RT. The screen offers support for 1450nits of peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

Coming to the cameras, the system on the back includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

The mid-range premium 5G OnePlus phone comes with a large 5000mAh battery and a 100W SUPERVOOC charger. The brand claims that the phone can charge from 0 to 100 per cent in just 25 minutes. OnePlus still bundles a fast charger in the retail box.
