OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune edition is here. Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has launched the new Sunset Dune edition of its premium smartphone — OnePlus 12R. The company has launched the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant for the special edition smartphone.“Sunset Dune is more than just a color; it’s a story of nature’s artistry. The delicate fusion of gold and pink creates a visual symphony that echoes the wind-sculpted sand's serene and majestic contours.This new variant of the OnePlus 12R offers users an experience that is visually and tactilely sublime, with a texture that is smooth to the touch, reminiscent of the flawless surface of desert dunes,” said the company in a release.OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune edition comes with a price tag of Rs 42,999. The smartphone will go on sale starting July 20 during the Amazon Prime Day sale.As part of the launch offers the company is offering an instant discount of Rs 3,000 on ICICI Bank and OneCard credit card. The company is also offering OnePlus Buds 3 at no extra cost with the OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune.The OnePlus 12R features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 4.0 technology. The screen offers an adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.Powered by the Trinity Engine and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core chipset (4nm), the smartphone includes up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of cameras, the OnePlus 12R boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, along with ultra-wide and macro lenses, as well as a 16MP front camera.The OnePlus 12R also features the Cryo-Velocity Cooling System, which uses advanced graphite and two vapor chambers for efficient heat dissipation. It is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC charging, allowing for a full charge in just 26 minutes.
