The Maruti Suzuki Brezza was launched in India in 2016. It is now priced between Rs 8.34 lakh and Rs 14.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV employs the K15C 1.5-litre petrol engine (103PS and 137Nm) with 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT options. There is also a CNG version (88PS and 121Nm) with a 5-speed MT.
Introduced in India in 2015, the Hyundai Creta is currently available in two versions, the standard and the N Line. While the standard version of the Hyundai Creta is priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hyundai Creta N Line sits in the price bracket of Rs 16.82 lakh to Rs 20.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
The standard Hyundai Creta has three engine options -- 1.5-litre MPi petrol (115PS and 144Nm), 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol (160PS and 253Nm) and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel (116PS and 250Nm). The 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine has 6-speed MT and IVT automatic options, while the 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine gets 7-speed DCT automatic only. The 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.

The Mahindra Scorpio entered the Indian market in 2002. It is currently being sold in the Classic and N avatars. The Mahindra Scorpio Classic comes in the price range of Rs 13.59 lakh to Rs 17.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra Scorpio-N price starts at Rs 13.60 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic employs a 2.2-litre mHawk CRDi diesel engine that produces 132PS and 300Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed MT. There is no 4WD on offer.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N gets a 2.0-litre mStallion TGDi petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk CRDi diesel engine. The petrol engine develops 203PS and 370Nm with a 6-speed MT, and 203PS and 380Nm with a 6-speed AT. The diesel engine churns out 175PS and 370Nm with a 6-speed MT, and 175PS and 400Nm with a 6-speed AT. A less powerful avatar of the diesel unit, which makes 132PS and 300Nm, is also on offer. The Mahindra Scorpio-N diesel has a 4WD option as well.
