Rs 16.5 DIVIDEND bank stock: Record date on June 28 – Do you own?

Shares of IndusInd Bank Limited are approaching their ex-date soon following the announcement of final dividend for FY24. Earlier the board of directors of IndusInd Bank recommended a dividend of Rs. 16.50 per equity share.

"... the Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, has recommended a dividend of Rs. 16.50 per equity share of Rs.10/- each fully paid up (i.e. 165 %) out of the net profits for the year ended March 31, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Bank," IndusInd Bank said in an exchange filing.

The bank has fixed June 28 as the ex-date and record date for its final dividend as per BSE.

Although IndusInd Bank has a rich history of paying dividend to its investors, this is the highest dividend the bank has paid so far.

Last year, the bank paid a dividend of Rs 14 in June. Similarly, in 2019, 2021, and 2022, the private lender announced a dividend of Rs 7.5, Rs 5, and Rs 8.5, respectively.
