Design
We had earlier reported the Cloud EV as an Ertiga rival. However, according to newer reports, MG is bringing the 5-seater model to India. At the front, we have a Comet-like front design, but with a more prominent beak. In the side profile, you have a good window area and flush door handles. MG has already patented the design in India and it is exactly similar to the global model.
MG Cloud EV – Specifications
In terms of dimensions, the Cloud EV is 4,295mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,652mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2,700mm. It is fairly similar to the ZS EV. To differentiate the Cloud EV could come with fewer features. Globally, the Cloud EV comes with two battery pack options – a 37.9kWh and a 50.6kWh. Both the battery packs come paired with a 134bhp motor. It remains to be seen if MG brings the same specs to India.
Interior and features
The interior of the Cloud EV comes with a minimalistic design. The interior is dominated by a big floating infotainment system. Below that, we have rectangular AC vents nicely integrated into the dashboard. Other things include a premium sound system, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera and ADAS. It remains to be seen how many of them are offered on the Indian model.
