Samsung might launch Galaxy S24 Ultra in a new color

Samsung teases yellow color, possibly for Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung has started teasing the yellow color on its social media profiles in India. Yesterday, Samsung India shared an image on Instagram that emphasizes the color yellow. It shows a person holding a sunflower, and while most of the image is monochrome, the sunflower's petals appear in their original color. While the company didn't reveal anything (not even in hashtags), it is speculated that it might launch the Galaxy S24 Ultra in yellow.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra might soon be available in Titanium Yellow in India. This color variant of the phone is already available in the US and could be launched in India as well. Right now, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is available in three standard colors—Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Violet—in India. It is also available in three online-exclusive colors: Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange.

The 256 GB version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra costs INR 129,999 ($1,556) in India. Its 512GB and 1TB versions are priced at INR 139,999 ($1,676) and INR 159,999 ($1,916), respectively. If the purchase is made through an HDFC Bank credit or debit card, there is an instant bank discount of INR 6,000 ($71). Students can get an additional 7% discount when they buy the Galaxy S24 Ultra in India.

Galaxy S24 Ultra features and specs

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz variable refresh rate, HDR10+, and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. It also has an S Pen, stereo speakers, an IP68 rating, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader. A part of the phone's frame is made of titanium. The screen and the phone's back are covered by Gorilla Glass Armor.

The device has a 200MP primary rear camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. On the front, it has a 12MP selfie camera with autofocus.

The phone can record 4K 60fps videos using all its cameras. 8K 30fps videos can be recorded using its primary rear and 50MP telephoto cameras. It can also record 4K 120fps slow-motion videos using its primary and ultrawide cameras on the rear.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging and 15W fast wireless charging. It can charge other devices wirelessly at 4.5W.

The device has GNSS (BDS, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS), 5G (dual-SIM + eSIM), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, UWB, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. Other features include Samsung Pay, Wired and Wireless DeX, and Galaxy AI. The phone runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software and will get seven major Android OS and security updates.
