Split Alert! The industrial products manufacturer company, WPIL, has announced lucrative rewards for shareholders. The company has stated that its Board of Directors, at their meeting held today, May 25, has approved the subdivision of its shares in the ratio of 10:1. The Board has also recommended a 200 per cent per share dividend payment for its shareholders for FY23-24.

WPIL Stock Split

The company, in an exchange filing has said that its board has accorded its consent for sub-dividing the equity shares in the ratio 10:1. Accordingly, WPIL’s 1 equity share, having a face value of Rs 10 each, fully paid up, will be subdivided into 10 equity shares, each having a face value of Rs 1. This, however, remains to be approved as may be necessary from the appropriate statutory authorities, including the approval of the Members of the Company in the General Meeting.

“The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 25, 2024, accorded its consent for sub-dividing the equity shares of the Company, such that each equity share having a nominal value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten Only) each be sub-divided into 10 (Ten) Equity Shares having a nominal value of Rs. 1/- (Rupee One Only) each fully paid up with effect from the ‘Record Date’ to be determined later on for this purpose,” said the company in a regulatory filing on the BSE.

WPIL Dividend 2024

The company, in an exchange filing, has said that its board of directors has recommended a final dividend of 200 percent or Rs 20 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24.

“The Board of Directors at its meeting held on May 25, 2024, recommended Final Dividend of Rs. 19,53,41,600 @ Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) on each Equity share of Rs. 10/- for the financial year 2023-24,” said WPIL in a regulatory filing on the BSE.

The next Annual General Meeting of the Members of WPIL is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 09, 2024.
