Stocks In News Today, Stocks To Watch Today: On Friday, the 30-share BSE Sensex tumbled 793.25 points or 1.06 per cent to settle at 74,244.90. The NSE Nifty opened gap down and after the initial volatility it drifted lower during the course of the day and closed around the lows for the day. It closed in the red, down 234.40 points or 1.03 per cent at 22,519.40. On the sectoral front, all the indices closed in the red with the Nifty Bank falling 422.05 points or 0.86 per cent end at 48,564.55.

Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ) Q4 Result, Dividend
TCS, the country's largest IT company, had on Friday announced its Q4 result. The Tata Group company reported 9.1 per YoY jump in net profit at Rs 12,434 crore. Its revenue from operations grew by 3.5 per cent YoY to Rs 61,237 crore. TCS also announced a dividend of Rs 28 per share for the financial year 2023–24.
Meanwhile, JP Morgan has retained HOLD rating on TCS for a target of Rs 4,130. ICICI Securities has upgraded TCS to ADD rating for target of Rs 4,330.
Anand Rathi Wealth: Dividend, Buyback
Anand Rathi Wealth's net profit up by 33 per cent at Rs 56.86 crore. The company has declared a dividend of Rs 9 per share. Besides, it has proposed a buyback programme at Rs 4,450 apiece.
Reliance Power News
As per the Business Transfer Agreement, Reliance Power has concluded the transfer of its 45 MW wind power project at Vashpet, Maharashtra, to JSW Renewable Energy (Coated) for Rs 132.39 crore.

Power Grid Fundraising News
State-owned power transmission company operating under the ownership of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, Power Grid Corporation of India has announced the schedule for the meeting of its Committee of Directors to mull fundraising. The company will consider raising up to Rs 12,000 crore via NCDs on a private placement basis in a board meeting on April 17.
Tata Steel Penalty
Tata Steel has said that its subsidiary, Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited, received three penalty orders worth Rs 5,00,000 from the Regional Director, Eastern Region, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (RD) on compounding of offences. According to the BSE data, NINL was acquired by Tata Steel Limited on July 4, 2022, under the process run by the Department of Disinvestment and Public Asset Management, Government of India. "NINL has on April 12, 2024, received three Orders dated April 12, 2024, each, from the RD, on compounding of offences under Section 441 of the Companies Act, 2013," said the company in a regulatory filing on the BSE.
Zomato Stock Target Hiked
UBS has given BUY call on Zomato shares and raised its target from Rs 195 to Rs 250. It said that the quick commerce growth and margin potential are under appreciated.
Vodafone Idea FPO Details
Earlier on Friday, Vodafone Idea said it plans to raise up to Rs 18,000 crore through share sale in the biggest follow-on public offer. The company’s shares will be issued, under the FPO, in a price band of Rs 10-11 apiece.
