The Punch.ev wished its owner happy birthday in an audio/verbal message. There is also a text Happy Birthday written on the instrument cluster and infotainment system. Now the twist here is the said owner has started getting pre-facelift Harrier on its media screen. This happened after the birthday message and the owner has tried to reset it, but it just won’t change. In the end, the owner has made peace with this fact and is mentally happy seeing a more expensive car on his screen.
Punch.ev as a product
Earlier this year, Tata launched Punch.ev and it has become an instant success. The Punch.ev is Tata’s first to be based on the new acti.ev platform. In terms of design, the Punch.ev shares a lot with other Tata SUVs like the Nexon, Harrier and Safari facelifts. Jumping into the interiors, Tata has added a lot of new features to it. New features include a 10.25-inch infotainment, digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, electronic parking brake with auto hold, 360-degree camera, wireless charging pad, etc. The Punch.ev also offers 14 litres of front storage (frunk), which is a first for any Tata car.

Talking about the motor specs, Punch comes with two motor options depending on the battery pack. The MR comes with a 78bhp motor, while the LR comes with a 118bhp motor. Charging-wise, the Punch.ev comes with a 3.3kWh charger, 7.2kWh charger and DC fast charging.
