“The board of directors at its meeting held today, approved purchase of a grinding unit having installed capacity of 1.1 mtpa in addition to a captive railway siding, at Parli, Maharashtra, from The India Cements,” the company said in its regulatory filing.

Earlier in April, Ultratech Cement said it would invest Rs 32,000 crore for capital expenditure over the next 3 years.

Earlier in April, Ultratech Cement said it would invest Rs 32,000 crore for capital expenditure over the next 3 years. On April 2, the company announced the commissioning of two new greenfield projects in Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu, with its total capacity reaching 151.6 mtpa.
