Previously, Google Assistant used to read the whole thing aloud, making it difficult for drivers to follow or understand the full message.The feature popped up in Android Auto’s settings quickly for some markets and we recently got it in our car infotainment system with Android Auto 11.5 update.After installing the latest version of Android Auto, the app will notify users on their phones about message summaries. Some users may also get an option to enable message summaries on their car’s infotainment system itself.Summaries are only for long messages (over 40 words) and if enabled, Google Assistant will still read short messages aloud, and shorter messages will be read aloud.
