An earlier WA Beta Info report said that WhatsApp is gearing up to launch a new event reminder feature for community group chats. This will help community admins keep members informed and engaged by allowing them to set reminders for upcoming events.
According to a screenshot shared by the publication, the event reminder option will let admins notify group members ahead of scheduled events. Users can choose to receive reminders 30 minutes, 2 hours, or even 1 day before the event. Admins will have the flexibility to select up to two notification timings, catering to the diverse schedules and preferences of their community members.
