WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned drawing editor: Here’s what it means for users

WhatsApp is now reportedly rolling out a redesigned drawing editor feature for better user experience. As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a redesigned drawing editor for Android beta testers.The redesigned drawing editor is available with update version 2.24.9.6 of the app. With the redesigned interface for the drawing editor, WhatsApp is enhancing user convenience by relocating this tool to the bottom of the screen.Notably, WhatsApp has also improved colour selection by introducing a feature that allows users to choose from a palette of 24 default colours, streamlining the process of navigating available colour options. Additionally, users can now adjust the font size by scrolling through the font size bar, offering an alternative to the usual gesture-based method.“The repositioning of the colour and brush toolbars to the bottom of the screen enhances convenience in editing images or videos, especially on larger devices, allowing users to interact with these features more comfortably with one hand. In addition, the expanded colour palette and improved font-size adjustment offer greater creative flexibility, enabling users to customise their messages with a broader range of colours with ease,” adds the report.
