2024 Jawa 350 launched
The 2024 Jawa 350 has been updated and it comes in a new alloy wheel variant. The company decided to introduce alloy wheels with tubeless tyres on the Jawa 350 after receiving customer feedback. Moreover, Jawa has introduced three new solid colours - Obsidian Black, Grey and Deep Forest while the Chrome series gets a new White shade that looks rather fetching.
BGauss RUV 350 launched
The BGauss RUV 350 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.10 lakh. The electric scooter is available in three variants- RUV 350i, RUV 350 EX and RUV 350 Max. Powering the scooter is a 3.5kW electric motor that makes a peak torque of 165Nm and is capable of propelling the scooter to a top speed of 75kmph. It has a 3kWh, lithium LFP battery and BGauss claims that it offers a range of 120km on a single charge. The range drops to 90km in the case of the RUV 350 EXi and RUV 350 EX.
BSA Gold Star India launch date
The BSA Gold Star is all set to be launched in India on 15 August. The company has released a teaser for the upcoming launch and fans of the classic British marque will finally get a chance of owning a modern-retro BSA in the country. Powering the bike is a 652cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 45bhp and 55Nm. The BSA Gold Star is aimed squarely at the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla revealed
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla was partially revealed in the run up to its official launch. The street naked is based on the Himalayan 450's platform and will foray into the 400-500cc, roadster segment. It will be powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 39.47bhp and 40Nm in the Himalayan. Royal Enfield may tweak the engine’s state of tune and gearing for the Guerrilla. The company is expected to position the bike in the same ballpark as the Triumph Speed 400 which is priced at Rs. 2.33 lakh and it will debut on 17 July.
Kawasaki discounts
Kawasaki is offering discounts and benefits worth up to Rs. 60,000 on the Vulcan S and the Ninja 650. The discounts are available via the ‘Good Times Voucher’ for both motorcycles. The Vulcan S gets a maximum discount of Rs. 60,000, while the Kawasaki Ninja 650 is available with a discount of Rs. 30,000. Customers can avail of the ‘Good Times Voucher’ against the ex-showroom prices of the respective bikes. For reference, the Kawasaki Vulcan S is priced at Rs. 7.10 lakh, while the Ninja 650 retails at Rs. 7.16 lakh.
